Refund Policy
Deposit
A signed contract and date-hold deposit of half of the total event price must be received to reserve your date and time. This is nonrefundable unless The Venue HTX is forced to cancel, and the full deposit will be refunded. The balance of your space rental fee is due thirty days prior to your event. No terms are implied or granted, and no work will be allowed to commence until full payment is received.
Cancellation
Cancellation of the event will result in NO REFUNDS of payments. If cancellation of the event by the Host occurs after the payment of the Damage Deposit has been made by the Host under this contract, then the full Damage Deposit will be refunded to the Host within 5 business days.
If circumstances beyond the control of The Venue HTX force us to cancel your reservation, we will refund all the sums paid. If the full rental payment is not received 30 days prior to your event, The Venue HTX reserves the right to cancel your reservation without a deposit refund.
Failure of the Host Group to abide by the terms of this contract or any breach of this contract during the Event that is considered material by The Venue HTX will result in immediate termination of the Event and will be considered a Host Cancellation resulting in no refunds of payments.
Damage Deposit
A Damage Deposit is required and is due thirty (30) days in advance of the event. The facilities used during the event (as well as the overall property) will be thoroughly inspected for damage following cleanup as well as a separate inspection the following day. Any damage done to The Venue HTX property, guest house, facilities or vendor items procured by The Venue HTX by the Host, any of the Host’s vendors, guests or anyone else with the Host’s party, will be the responsibility of the Host. The Venue HTX reserves the right to use any or all of the Damage Deposit toward any of the Host’s obligations under this contract or any claims that The Venue HTX may have for extraordinary cleanup, damages to or destruction of any property located in, on, or around the premises belonging to The Venue HTX or its vendors as a result of Host’s use of the premises or in any way relating to the event. If the costs of the damage exceed the Damage Deposit, the Host will be responsible for paying ALL costs and repairs. The Host agrees to pay the costs associated with all damage caused by any person other than representatives and agents of The Venue HTX. The remaining balance, if there is any, of Host’s Damage Deposit will be refunded by The Venue HTX to Host within 10 business days following the event or within 10 business days following completion of repairs, whichever is later
